This very stylish site covers a little bit of everything. For people looking for their next romantic fix- it’s here. Their website offers everything the hopeless romantic could wish for: reviews and ratings of the latest romantic books, recommended reading lists, giveaways and even lists of which books are on sale. Alongside a clutch of blogging awards they were also selected as an OfficialFifty blog by Universal Studios for their love of Fifty Shades. Totally Booked Blog is where I go for that: it’s run by two book addicts who love reading about romance, and then discussing it afterwards. Sometimes, you just really want to curl up with a romantic novel and forget about the outside world for a little bit. Roundly applauded for her fresh and original take on reviews (with authors and bloggers alike singing her praises) this is definitely a fun blog that rewards the casual browser and the hard-core fan alike. Run by Jessie Cahalin, this fantastically diverse site covers everything from handbags (of course) to travel, to her famous Blogger’s Café, where she supports and features other book bloggers from around the internet. This blog is excellent- first for the way in which it combines books and handbags into one blog, and secondly for the great reviews. If that’s not enough, his Twitter feed serves more of the same, serving up crime excellence in bite-sized form! If you’re looking for more inspiration, then this is the perfect place to go. Sharing his pick of the best crime and thrillers coming out onto the market, this blog has been going since 2014- and won the Annual Blogger’s Bash Hidden Gem Award recently, too. I love this blog! Even the layout of Grab this Book’s blog is formatted to look like a case file, giving a fun and fresh take on the crime novels that the Scottish book blogger Gordon loves to read. If you’re looking for some literary inspiration- especially fantasy related- and ponderings on cake, look no further, especially as her debut novel, A Thousand Perfect Notes, is coming out this year… Her Twitter feed regularly serves up extremely relatable tweets about the world of author-ing, and her blog, Paperfury, is a smash hit, combining photography and book reviews with a frankly pretty stunning layout (seriously, it’s gorgeous). If you’re looking for a little bit of literary wisdom, served with a healthy dose of sass and hilariousness, then CG Drews is the person to go to. And if you’re to pop over to her Twitter feed, you would find publishing and crime-related tweets galore. Looking for the perfect place to indulge your love of crime novels and thrillers with plot twists to die for? Then Crime Thriller Girl is where to go: combining three-word reviews of the latest crime fiction with her own career as thriller writers Steph Broadribb and Stephanie Marland, the blog also includes insights into the world of writing. This is only a guide, of course, but if you’re looking for the next blog or Twitter feed to fall in love with then here are some of my personal favourites. The world of publishing, and book blogging, is one of the most supportive ones I know, and it’s always great to see what other people are up to- especially as everybody’s reading interests are so diverse! Everybody loves a good book- and nobody loves them better than book bloggers! Responsible for spreading the love and joy of reading- and raising hype for new books- across the blogosphere, and on social media, being a blogger is great fun.Īnd one of the best things about it? Reading the work of other book lovers online.
